ANADOLU ISUZU REALIZED EUROPE PREMIER IN BELGIUM
Anadolu Isuzu blew an innovation wind in Busworld Kortrijk Fair which has been the biggest and the most important fair in bus transportation market and has been realized for 20th times.
Busworld Kortrijk Fair in which the most leading market represantatives were welcomed, was organised in Belgium between 16-21 October, 2009. Anadolu Isuzu, participated in the Fair having its 700 m2 area boot and presented the European premier with its 5 new buses within its new “ All New & All Stars” concept.
The European Premiere of 5 new Isuzu vehicles, belonging to 3 new midibus model groups, was celebrated in Anadolu Isuzu's 700 square meters boot, which was designed according to the "All New & All Stars" concept, that has been chosen by the company for this year’ show. Comparing the new Isuzu midibuses to the Hollywood stars, "All New & All Stars" concept successfully emphasized Anadolu Isuzu's excitement and pride resulting from the European Premiere of the three new model groups in 2009.
Anadolu Isuzu presented Novo and Novo Ultra, of which the introduction was made in the 7th of August with its “Hodri Meydan slogan, and two different models of Citimark, which is a 9 m.length public transportation bus, and the new face of the Turquoise, which is the leader of midibus export, in Boot 401 , in Hall 4.
Anadolu Isuzu represented our country properly within this important international platform with its new models as being Turkey’s midibus export leader since 2004.
The New vehicles were introduced to national and international press within the press release meeting which was organised in Anadolu Isuzu boot, in October 15.
European Premier was realized within the introduction coctail in the 16th of October with the participation of national and international guests and international distributors.
The Chairman of the Board of Anadolu Isuzu, Kamil Eser made the first speech at the opening of the Press Meeting.In conformity with the "All New & All Stars" concept, Mr.Eser compared the new Isuzu midibuses to movie stars, while comparing the management and workers of Anadolu Isuzu to a film crew.
Mr.Eser continued his speech, explaining the negative effects of the global crisis on automotive industries all around the world. Mr Eser pointed out that "...chasing ambitious projects to create new "Stars", at a time where others have preferred to shelter themselves under protective strategies" is an indication of Anadolu Isuzu's strength and self-confidence.
Stating the importance of cost minimization during the times of economic stagnation, Mr.Eser suggested new Isuzu midibuses to companies in Europe as hardworking and cost-efficient business partners.
After introducing the new Isuzu midibuses and their new Euro 5 (EEV) Isuzu engines to the media, Mr. Eser ended his speech by stressing his conviction for continuation of Anadolu Isuzu's current success in coming years with these new models.
Mr. Eser continued his speech by giving an information, which was announced for the first time in Kortrijk. "Following the studies conducted by Japanese engineers from Isuzu Motors, Citimark will be included into Isuzu Motors Limited's global product line-up."
Kamil Eser concluded his speech as stressing his belief that Anadolu Isuzu which completed 2008 as the leader of Turkey’s midibus export will be continuing its way with strong and decisive steps.
Anadolu Isuzu 2008 export forecast is 62,5 billion Euro
Anadolu Isuzu, which participated in Busworld Kortrijk Fair as the 5th times has an export capacity to 22 countries including European countries. Anadolu Isuzu realized 1032 vehicles export of total 1714 vehicles export in Turkey in 2008.
Anadolu Isuzu has been exporting more than 1/3 of its own total midibus production.
