Cif Topkapı Palace Restoration and Conservation Project
Cif continued to social responsibility projects with Topkapı Palace Historical Rehabilitation Project in the 700th anniversary of Ottoman Empire.

Topkapı Palace had been the residence of Ottoman Sultans and center of government starting from the age of Mehmed the Conqueror. It is also one of the leading palace-museums within world’s cultural heritage. The buildings inside the palace were extremely dirty and Cif undertook a mission of carrying out a unique project of cleaning for the first time in 500 years.

It took Cif 2 years to complete the project of cleaning stone surfaces with scientific methods.

This collaboration of Cif, Topkapı Palace Museum Directorate and İstanbul Restoration and Conservation Center Laboratory was accompanied by 30 Cif Men.

The project which is designed and realized by Greenactive for Cif was awarded with the Golden World Award by IPRA in 1999.
